Sometimes when you're surfing the web, or looking through some documents, you want to quickly copy pieces of text for use later on. These could be passwords or snippets of information.

Soft191 PasteBox lets you achieve just that. It simply allows you to store text by pasting it from the Windows clipboard into a "text box".

The program resides in the system tray, where you can 'paste' text using the pop-up menu.

Pasting
Copy the text you want to keep from another application (e.g. web browser, document) to the Windows clipboard.

Then paste the text into Soft191 PasteBox by right clicking the tray icon to bring up a menu.

Additionally, text can be automatically pasted at the end of the text box, providing you with a chronological document of everything you have pasted.

You can define your 'separator line' by providing the length of the line (in characters) and the actual character to use (i.e. - or / or = or anything else you like!)

Saving
Text is stored in one file, called "Soft191 PasteBox.pbstore", by default in your documents folder. You can change the location of this store file in "Options".

You can save your text at anytime by pressing the "Save" button on the toolbar, however everything will be saved automatically when the program is closed/shut down.
